Davvi Girji was established in 1990.
Our vision is to be a market-oriented, innovative and leading sami publisher.
In Norway, the publisher’s book titles in sami language constitute a significant proportion of available literature on the market, regardless of the type of genre.
Our releases should have a clear connection with the sami community or address issues that are of importance to the sami community.
The publishing house’s main language is northern sami, but also publishes products in other languages.
In recent years, the company has been developed from being a traditional publisher to providing graphic services as well as language services such as translation and subtitling.
Our staff consists of 13 skilled employees with long and wide experience.
